Bugs in my room!

There have been bugs in my room, in my bed mostly. They look larder beetles when I looked them up but not exactly. I won't even go near my bed now. There is no food or other things like that in my room to attract them, just clothing on the floor. They look just like larder beetles I've looked up online. What can I do about them that doesn't involve anything expensive

Carpet beetles look similar, and are more likely to be found in a bedroom.

You can get rid of them with a flea bomb; that's about the cheapest way.

That doesn't look anything like them

I looked and looked and this was the closest I could find to it

Can you take a pic of the ones you do have? (or is that one and I'm being obtuse)

If it is a larder beetle, check closely for things like pet food that got spilled. That's the most common source when they're found outside a food storage area.

I don't have a camera that works in my room (it's so dark and the flashes white it all out) they are identical to that bug though.

I found a few cups that used to have drinks in them and a old pack of pretzels, but that's all. Could that be the source? How do I get rid of them?

That's why I'm on the site, emop. At least for now. Larder beetles normally like to feed on animal products. A deep crack and crevice vacuuming might get up their food source, such as crumbs of skin from something a long time ago or cheese powder from popcorn or chips or even a piece of jerky. Otherwise, look around to see if your walls connect to anyplace suspicious, like a bathroom or a pantry.

Also, a strong aromatic detergent such as 409 or Chlorox cleanser used to wash the baseboards and walls in your room wouldn't hurt.

Thanks, and my closet has an open hole that leads to the attic and no one dares go up there because my cousin used to use it as a drug house..

You could cover the hole with plastic and tape? Or a more permanent solution is the polyurethane foam sealant that comes in a shaving cream type can.

The hole is the size of a staircase, in my closet there is a second closet. The second closet is meant as a walk way to the attic but is just an open space above a stairway, the ceiling of this area is missing leaving a large hole the length of the stairs. Should I just seal off the door way that leads to the area?

That should stop them if they're coming from the attic. Duct tape is good for so many many things.
