I owned a 2006 BMW 750I and this warning message came on

"Drive Control! moderately drive control system malfunction."

When I switch the car off and wait a few minutes and start it up again the system resets
Itself. This message has popped up twice in two weeks. What does it means? Has it stored a code in the system? I am at a lost, please help. Thank you in advance.

Automobile dealerships have a small computer that they insert into a socket around the dash that tells them just what is going on. It is a computer system in all cars after, say, 2000 which makes it easier to diagnose a problem area, narrowing it down to the source of the error message. I would suggest you take your BMW in to a dealership and have it dealt with. It sounds like something amiss with your cruise control. Do you have cruise control?
