I have a hampton bay ceiling fan not sure what happened but I can't change the speed from the lowest setting. It powers off and on and the light works fine but every time I try to change the speed setting I hear the click like its going to change but it keeps the low speed. Please help we are hitting triple digits this week and it really does help keep it cool.

Sounds like a bad receiver. Does the fan have pullchains?

No pull chains just remote

You will have to contact the manufacturer for a replacement receiver.
