Furnace Blower Motor Running During Summer...
    Hello,

I have a strange problem. During winter I had to replace my furnace and replace it with a Carrier furnace. The furnace works just fine. Now the problem is that during summer my AC unit (which is separate from furnace) won't come on. It is also very strange, to me at least, that blower motor in the furnace unit comes on when outside AC unit is supposed to come on. Has anyone seen this before? All this is new to me because this is my first house and I don't have experience of previous season to draw from.

    Thanks,
    Sam

Do you just have 1 t-stat for both units? Was it changed when you got the furnace?

I only have one T-Stat for both units. I got the Carrier Infinity control T-Stat. It has a large size LCD screen with buttons on the side for temp control and other settings. I have it set to Cool setting.
