This isn't really a pest control issue but I figured the people here would answer best.

I live in phoenix, and we have lots of bees. On our back porch so far this year we have seen 3 bees at night time, that just can't seem to fly. They just sort of fumble around on the ground. And I saw 1 in the kitchen last night as well, the lights were on so it can't be a vision thing I don't think. Something makes it so that they can't fly at night time.

Does anyone know how? I've tried googling it and can't find anything.

What kind of bees? Honeybees can get lost from their hive, Carpenter Bees will sit outside the hole after they've laid eggs and die, some wasps can't handle rapid temperature changes.

They seem to be regular honey bees. I've never seen a wasp do it. They are just, regular bees. Not the big fat ones, not the black ones, not the wasps/yellow jacket types. Here let me find a picture of what I mean by 'regular' lol.

Looks like a honeybee. As I said, they can get lost from the hive. If they survive through the night they may find it again.

Lol yeah but cats, do you know why they can't fly at night? I'm really confused why they can't fly when the sun goes down.

Some can fly at night. Why these cannot is a question for an apiologist on the ground there. You might want to look up Beekeepers in the yellow pages and ask if they'd like to take a look. Maybe a grad student from State is looking for thesis material; a phone call to the entomology department wouldn't be amiss, either.
