I was working outside with my pocket knife and it bent and smooched(sliced) my finger, I don't think it went all the way to the bone but it was deep. I washed the wound and put pressure on it until it quite bleeding the I put a band-aid with antibiotics then a butterfly bandage to keep it sealed. I slept overnight with it when I woke up my finger it a little bigger than before and I can't bend in too much.I don't know if I should go to the doctor or let it heal please help.

Go to the doctor,you may have damaged the tendons in your finger,or need stitches.

Do stitches hurt more than a tattoo?

They will numb the area if you need stitches,better to get your finger looked at by a doctor now,then any long term damage that may result if you don't.
