Hi, my friend is on the pill and has been for quite some time now, but jyst recently, when she is taking her period, she is bleeding for around 5 days, stopping for about a week and then bleeding again for maybe 5 days. Is this at all normal or should she consult her doctor? Please help as I am very worried about her.

She might need a new pill. She should talk to the doctor. Only they can tell what is going on with her.
