My York unit sounds like it is hard starting every 5 minutes. The lights dim in the house so I assume it is. Why is this happening and how do I stop it?

Your unit is short cycling from the sound of it. You will need to inspect the outside unit and repair/replace whatever defective part is causing the problem.
