I bought a cup of coffee from macdonalds and after swallowing two mouthfuls my throat felt on fire.I went back and asked what was in my drink and after checking the machine it was found to be sanitizer. The machine had not been emptied of the chemicals before using.I was offered nothing but another cup of coffee. My throat was burning, I had no taste for two days, diaroreoh ,stomach pains and abad headache. Upon contacting them again they admitted and have done nothing to help. Do I have a case for .

Did you seek medical help right away?

I was told by the manager that it was a food grade cleaner and that I would be okay. I went to work and lay in the sickroom. I rang them again and this time the manager checked the chemical information sheet which stated that if ingested to contact poisons information immediately and see a doctor. The manager asked for my doctors number and faxed a copy of the chemical sheet to them. By the time I saw my doctor a few hours had pssed.

You needed to go to the doctor and have it verified,
