Just a quick question.
Do you go to jail have to pay a fine not able to show the proof of insurance so it can be droped just find me guilty will they give me another court date to show I had insurance at he time I got pulled over
You won't go to jail over a traffic violation. Most likely a default conviction would have been entered and possibly a surcharge to the fine.
Check with the court on Tuesday. Some courts are lenient and will allow you to schedule a new court date. One time I saw a substitute judge issue arrest warrants for all who failed to appear. That was an extreme circumstance, though.
Well here in Atlanta, they issue a bench warrant for you for failure to appear. ( the ticket is a court summons)
Now you are allowed to post bail ( normally the amount of all of the fines and court costs) and just go on your way. And be given a new court date
