    Virginia laws on breaking probation
I am on a 3 year probation for shoplifting in VA. What happens if I violate a court child custody agreement?

    Hello f:

Family law is civil. You can't be violated for civil disagreements. SOME child custody matters, though, COULD be considered criminal depending on what you did.

It will depend on what you do to violate the child agreement, if your action violates a criminal issue then it can be in violation of probation.

The exact terms of probation and the exact thing you are going to do to violate the terms of the agreement
