    Hampton bay fans
We have a small, four blade Hampton Bay Fan (The Landmark, model No 460-249) and are having trouble finding a light kit that will fit it. We bought a Schoolhouse, one light globe Lighting kit at Home Depot, and the diameter of the light housing cover is larger than the housing on the fan. Do you know of a lighting kit that will fit this fan?

Did your fan originally come with a light?

Any ceiling fan light kit should work. The size of the switch housing is not important, the spacing of the screws is.

Many lights will simply attach with one threaded nipple in the center.
