I live in south Florida. What size portable generator would I need to run a 2 / 1/2 ton a/c. A fridge/freezer and a light? No one seems to know. I have gotten 6 different answers... Please I need help!

You are going to put some money out get a potable generator to run this. The ac is 220 volt and probably needs 20 amps that alone is 4800 watts
Plus anouther 15 amps for the other 3 you listed. 1650 watts add them up and you will have a big generator. 6,400 watt

Also the reserve start up watts is an important item to look into when you have that many appliances running off a genset.
