my dog won't walk with me anymore, why?
I have a staffy x of roughly 18 months of age, she is a rescue dog who I have had for 5 months, she loved walkies and both myself and dad would take her walks, now I can't get her to leave the garden for a walk! She gets all excited when I put her harness on but the minute I get to the gate she refuses to budge, and sometimes even starts to shake, dad says he has no problem taking her walks which I'm finding very strange?
the only thing different that has happened is a male dog tried his luck with her when we were out a walk, and she wasn't too happy and wanted home, she is dressed and other than trying to take her a walk she is happy and full of life

Spaying females sometimes softens them out in a lot of ways. I am finding that with my new pet. At first though, they have raging hormones because of it, and do strange stuff.

Its hard to tell rescued dogs sometimes have a lot of problems and sometimes you have to go back before you can go forward just go slow with her sometimes it tacks time has it been more than once maby for some reason she didn't feel safe at that time was anyone going by or dog maby a loud car or noise it doesn't take much to scare them all my dogs are rescued and one gets scared really easly or it seems like nothing at all
