Had 12.5 briggs carb rebuilt now gas runs straight trough till tank is empty why

Fuel valve open or missing parts like a gasket.
Float not adjusted properly.

Don't think it's related to the fuel cut solenoid.

If you blew air through the fuel inlet you could have blown out the rubber seat.

I would suspect float as well.
