    You will have to do or have done for you a Manual J calculation. Usually these are done by the contractors bidding on your job.

    Anything other than a manual J calculation is guess work and in today's HVAC world guess work just causes to many problems.

    Most likely a 3 1/2 ton, but depends on location and your house.
