In order for your paycheck to be garnished there has to judgement and from that come the order to garnish. Now if it is taxes or child support or student loans that may be different.Do you have a judgement?

Garnished, If they have went to court and got a judgement, there is nothing else they have to do that you will know about. They get a order to garnish from the court after they get a judgement.

It is for student loans. No, there has been no court order issued.

There is no court order but they garnished my paycheck anyway. It is for student loans.
