My incoming live emails go directly to delete I use this as my inbox what can I do to sort this out

Check to make sure there isn't a filter running that causes this to happen.

This started last week after receiving an email about Live updateing itself
Where do I find filters and what should I set them

How are you accessing your mails?
Is this with the Live client or online (webmail)

I click on a windows live hotmail link on the toolbar
It is the same on hotmail through Google

OK so it's the normal hotmail webmail.

In that case try this:

Options > More Options > Filters and reporting > Choose a junk e-mail filter > Change to STANDARD and Delete junk e-mail change to Later > SAVE.

I found it after I sent the email they are already set as you suggested.
The problem is all incoming emails go to delete file for some reason inbox is not being used
I can still read them all right I have to manually delete them so there is no dang

In that case try turning them OFF completely.

Found a filter inbox clicked it again and saved touch wood it is now working (how do you turn them off) it seems to only select

I thought I had sorted it I am afraid not still not going into inbox

Now my live emails go to my husbands email address @gmail
