    Annulment vs divorce
My daughter was married at age 15. Since she was so young, and the marriage only lasted 1.5 years, can she qualify for an annulment. We live in the state of Florida.

In Alabama, Annulment usually cannot happen if the marriage has been consummated (i.e, they had sex after marriage). And it usually costs more than an uncontested divorce. Are both parties in agreement? Then maybe they should consider an uncontested divorce.

There is normally no good reason to look into an annulment, unless there is some outstanding legal reason to do so.

In most cases esp since they were married a longer time, a divorce is called for.
