    Nebraska Statute landlord/tenant late fees
In Nebraska, can a landlord legally charge a late fee for rent being one day late, provided it is spelled out in the lease?

In other words, is it legal for the landlord to write up a lease and impose a late charge even if rent is one day late? Or is there a certain grace period a landlord must give before they charge a late fee?

    Thanks

No grace period has to be given and a late fee can be charged even for one day late. Late is late. Most LL don't get this picky but it is legal to do so.
