    Ga law on child abandonment
I divorced in 2006. I have two kids from the marriage. He does not care to see the kids and the kids don't care to go with their father. I use to make them go, per agreement, but I was doing more harm than good. (least that's what I was thinking) Besides, the visitation, is it still abandonment if he does not pay child support? I live in Hall County, in the state of Gerogia.

Is there a child support order in place already?

Assuming there is a child support order, GA law has what they can "abandonment" which is different than leaving the child alone somewhere. It is merely a term used for non payment of support.

But GA puts people in jail all the time for non payment
