If dad doesn't what his name on birth certificate can I claim mentanance or does he need to be there to put his name on or can I do it

If you are asking about child support - you are not entitled to spousal maintenance - you will have to wait until the child is born and then go to Court and file for support. He may or may not file for visitation and/or custody.

I would not put his name on the BC but would request that the Family Court ORDER that it be put on the BC. Why argue with him about that?
