Hi,
My acer monitor was working fine for a long time but yesterday it suddenly flashed something like preparing or crashing ,screen went black and then flashed repairing strongly recommended,I clicked OK and after that whenever the computer is turned on with in a second the monitor displays no VGA signal and the monitor is going to sleep. I have tried taking out the wires ,switching on and off but there is no result. Any suggestion is appreciated. Thank you

2 issues with no signal
-monitor or the video card

As mentioned above, confirm cable is in firmly

If you have access to a known working monitor, connect that monitor to the computer and see if it works with the PC

-If you still get no signal with known working monitor, looks as it would be the video card that is shot

-if known working one works, you know there is a prob with your orig monitor
