Ac unit's air handler is leaking water and it wasn't doing that before I left for vacation but I turned the t-stat up to 86 degrees would that have had something to do with it? I live in fl also.

The AC is removing humidity in the air as water. The water should be piped somewhere such as french drain, through a condensate pump or just outside depending on where the unit is located.
Pans are usually placed underside the unit with a water switch that will turn the water off.
The unit is not draining properly. Check the condensate line for obstructions first. You may have to check the evaporator.
