I have a featherlite weedeater xt 200. I used it for 1st time this year and mixed fresh oil and gas and it started right up. Problem is that after using it for about 30 minutes I shut it off and could not restart it even though if followed the manual instructions. I had to assume it flooded but followed manual about starting flooded motor to no avail-i tried off and on for about an hour. I let it sit overnight and still could not get it started. After another hour of frustration I removed the plug and tried cleaning it with wire brush and 250 grit sandpaper. I then tried to restart it without priming bulb and at halfchoke and it started after about 4 pulls to my surprise. I use it for about 15 minutes and after I tried tapping head on ground to advance more cutting line it stopped and I have not been able to start it again no matter what I try. Either cleaning spark plug or the flooded enging cleared with plug out on 1st retry was the difference then but same process does not seem to work. Totally frustrated with this-plan to buy new spark plug. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I would try a new plug,would check my mixure make sure its right.
