How to remove nail polish from wood
I was painting my nails and spilled purple nail polish on my bed's foot board and also on my beige carpet. What is the best way to remove the polish from the foot board, since it is wood with a cherry colored finish? Also, how can I removed the paint from the carpet?

You can blot the carpet with a terry towel dipped in nail polish remover. Keep damp for several minutes and keep turning the towel. The same may work on your foot board but anything that cuts nail polish will likely remove some of your finish

Before trying to clean foot board test in area that can not be seen. If satisfied with look after test do area with stain working from edge to center of stain.
