    2003 Accent won't start
My Accent won't start on its own. I can give it a little shot of starting fluid and starts right up. Runs fine after it starts. If I leave it for over an hour won't start again. I checked fuel pump and its working good. Thanks for any help

Did you mean Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP)? This is the sensor you want to focus on. If you change the CKP and the coil pack, I bet you'll solve the problem. Use dielectric grease on connectors to the coil pack.

Yes, that's the one I changed. I did not see any damage on the old one when I pulled it out. I inspected the hole and made sure I had the old o-ring out.

Ensure the platinum spark plugs have been changed in the last 3 years.

I messed up. Took another look and I did replace the cam shaft sensor. Put in a crank shaft sensor and she started right up. Running like new again. Thank you for your time and patience.
