    This depends on your individual beliefs - if you think the dead can contact the living (or the other way aorund) I would ask your clergyman.

    I lost my wife in 2009. She comes to me and shuts off the picture frame and I just talk to her. I go to mediums and they say that your love is with you. Just talk to him.
