I know this is a stretch, but anyhelp would be great, this movie was more then likely released in 80's-90's, it starts two friends (boy and girl, I think they were rodents, or animals) in a city, possibly caged, the girl escapes/goes missing, the boy gets out, and searches for her. I know he goes down a river, and into the country side I believe, and he sings a song something like "im on my way nono, and its ok nono" I think her name was nono, nemo, or something along those lines. I know its not much info, I would just love to find it, if possible.
