If you have your EPA certification you will know the correct way to recover refrigerant with a recovery machine and you will also know how to charge it. Since using refrigerant (Freon to some) is a item that needs special training and the EPA certification we do not post ways to charge a unit since this could leed other readers into some big time trouble.

    KISS

    Depends:

    1. Use weight for an empty system.
    2. Use superheat/subcooling

Then there is all the other misc stuff that needs to be done such as leak checking etc.

Why don't you write what you think needs to happen and we'll critique?
