    Is this a homework assignment?

This is one of 3 homework assignments - I already did my homework in detail.

    Now it's OP's time to do his/hers.

OP apparently slept through both American history AND biology.

We are not allowed to do your homework!

    Hi, Bowden11!

If you would like to discuss about the facts of history, I'm sure that there are those of us who'll be willing to do that with you in order to help you to learn better. A number of us have been employed as teachers in schools.

Please just let us know on this thread.

However, we can't actually do your homework for you. If we did, how would that be helping you to learn?

    Thanks!

I thought what he wants to know was pretty clear - I don't see any discussion question here.

    He wants to know:

What events prompted our founding fathers to create the U.S. Constitution? Using references and dates, also explain what the founders hoped the Constitution would protect.

There are books at the library which will help you. Why don't you join a study group. History is fun and exciting to learn. It takes you places you never dreamed you would go!

    Hi, JudyKayTee!

When a student doesn't know the facts, and when the facts are supported by hopes and ideas, that leaves plenty of room for discussion when trying to teach a student about history.

    Thanks!

When a student doesn't know the facts and asks an online Q&A board to do his homework for him, there is no room for "discussion." Discussion took place in his classroom. Where was he?

Trying to get the information on an online site! Aren't you willing to discuss things with a student, Wondergirl?

Not this time. He doesn't want discussion. He wants someone to do his work. Did you see his other question?

Really hard to tell without the student responding. Yes, I've seen the other thread.

    Thanks!

    There won't be a response.

Can't tell that either. I'll wait...

I can answer for me, not for Wondergirl - I am not willing to do somebody's homework. A question is, "I wonder why our Founding Fathers thought the Constitution was a good idea?" A homework question is - well, he posted it and I posted it.

I see no room for discussion.

"Using reference and dates" is hardly a discusson.

Whether anyone has ever helped a student isn't the question here; the question here is whether AMHD is going to help THIS student.

My grandkids tried to get homework answers on line. No more computer for them after that until school was out. Thing about it was, they knew it. They didn't want to write about their reason for the theory and how they came to the conclusion.

I believe there are two other questions - OP slept through more than one subject.

    Thank you.

What did you do about the stuff you missed if you were absent from school? Did you ask strangers to do your make-up work for you?
