    98 accord fan blower doesn't work
    98 Accord A/C blower works some times and not other times. Does not blow when just on heat. HELP My college daughter is burning up this summer! Thanks

    . Test all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter:

    . Check blower motor relay, located in the under hood fuse/relay box. Clean contacts with abrasive cloth. Replace, if necessary.

    . Remove the connector to the blower motor and jump it. If it runs fine, focus on a bad blower switch. If not, replace the blower motor.

    When I pulled the blower motor, it would run if I would spin the blower.

    Thanks for the help. I pulled the motor apart, checked the brushes and cleaned it up! The carbon dust reminded me of cleaning big DC motors on the ole Submarine... what fun. It now works fine.
