I applied for german papers. So far I waited over one year. I have a german lawyer in the US working on it. He says that they have a huge pile of papers to do. How long does this take? One year two years etc. johnny.

What qualifies you for german papers (what do you mean by german papers, a passport), you don't say ? Are your parents german ? Where do you live now ?
