I have tenants from hell, if there is proof of destruction like holes in wall, damage to major appliances, ANYWAY TO GET POLICE TO KICK THEM OUT. ALSO- IF WE LOCK THEM OUT, THEY GET ATTORNEY & TAKE US TO COURT--WHAT USUALLY HAPPENS? FINE US? (we are to go to court 7/9 but want them out NOW)... They seem to have done all this before... they definitely know what they're doing! (including moving in strangers!! ) help! From Virginia

Sorry, no, merely destroying your home is not something police will get involved in, it should allow you to do a faster court date for eviction.

They can sue you for illegal eviction, costs of moving, new rental costs, pain and suffering and the such.
