What does it mean if your cholestrol is inherited
I was told, that because my levels of cholestrol were so high, I may have inherited it. What does this mean? I have dropped my levels back down to normal, in about 3 months.

People can be genetically prone to high cholesterol levels. It just means that you your gene pool (your parents etc.) were also prone to it.

That means that you can eat nothing but lettuce for every meal, and your cholesterol will still be high. I have a friend that has the genetic connection to high cholesterol. He takes a daily pill, and is just fine.
