Too hot upstairs
I don't know,do you have duel zone A/C?
We had it for many years, the lower level thermostat would say it's cold enough and shut down the a/c unit while the upstairs one would be calling for cold.
We now have only the upper thermostat to control the entire home, the lower floor vents are all but completely closed. The cold air can flow down as needed,as cold air does!
Also... what type of venting do you have for your roof?
If the roof is not adequately venting the super heated air produced by summer heat against the shingles, you are going to have excessive heat on the upper floors.
Do you have a zone system, or 2 units??
