    Eye question.
What are some tips and/or home remedies to decrease the puffiness in eyes. I take very good care of my eye and the skin under it: I take off my makeup with remover every day, I get enough sleep usually, and I always use an under-eye cream. What are some other things I should do to decrease the puffiness in the skin under my eyes, or temporary solutions.

    Thank's much!

    Hi,lj
Eyes are very sensitive as we all know, so, I would like to give some tips:
    1)eat carrots,leafy vegies.
2)sleep well ,don't take much stress.
3)And one thing before you go to sleep soak a cloth in warm water and apply on your eyes gently.
Hope you will get some relief .bye take care...

Try using a cold compresses for 10 - 15 minutes, one to two times daily. This works pretty well, but the results only last several hours.

Try frozen or chilled green tea or green tea bags. Apply them directly to the under eye bags for 10 – 15 minutes daily or as needed.

To combat water retention, you need to reduce your salt intake, drink plenty of water (dehydration causes water retention), get adequate exercise, avoid alcohol, and eat a balanced diet.

Cosmetic fillers are a little pricey, but the results last 4-8 months.

If all else fails, a good cosmetic surgeon can do surgery which lasts for years.

Does anyone know why the cucumber helps relieve puffiness of the eye skin?

Thank's to everyone who answered though!
