How to find R22 lubricant in Ducane condenser
Have Ducane 2AC13L48P-2A, serial no.: 4609F60234, condenser without type refrigerant oil listed on compressor or condenser unit labels. How do I find the type or grade R22 refrigerant oil in the system.

The Ducane manufacturer has nothing to do with the oil in the A/C system compressor. Ducane does not make there own compressors and does not fill them with oil so you will have to find out the brand of Compressor in the Ducane unit. It should be a Bristol,Copeland or Tecumseh compressor. The compressor manufacturer fills the oil to the proper level at the compressors manufacturing plant. Contact Ducane OR contact the compressor manufacturer. When id doubt always contact the compressor manufacturer.
