Can social security garnish my paycheck?
Social Security Disability are trying to garnish my paycheck. I was on DISABILITY for a few years and I am able to work now. SSDI says I owe back payment, and I do not.
SSDI will not give me a hearing to prove my case and now turn my case over to collection agency. They are threatening to garner my paycheck? Can they do this? Please help...

Can they prove that they were sending you payments and those payments were cashed while you were working ? A hearing is your right but they must have proof of fraud then.

SSI will says my hearing is "pending". It has been 2 years now.
Mean time, they passed my account to collection.
Every time, I call the 800 number, its collection and they tell me I must pay
Or face wage garnishment. If I pay, I'm GUILTY without a hearing...
