    First Violation of Probation I received a DWI in MO,& what does suspend & revoke probation means

    Not being a lawyer,not being in the system,not being a resident of MO...

    At first blush,I would say this violation might mean they are going to suspend and then revoke the probation,, then once back in court you can be jailed for the full terms of your original violation(for which they put you on probation for) and then additional for the second violation, probably not concurrent sentence,

    So stated by a former MO resident/person of interest... (not I,but one I work with)

    PS>He left the state,came back to Illinois and tried to simply pay off fines here, needless to say, he went to jail,has no license here,and is on 6 years probation..

    It means they are going to send you back in front of the judge who will decide if you go to jail instead of being on probatoin
