I have a small hole in my gum which leads to my nostral and my gums are sore what can it be oh by the way I'm a smoker can it be cancer?

See a doctor immediately if you are experiencing anything wrong with your mouth that severe and you are a smoker. Why would you wait if it concerns your health. I suggest you stop smoking. Yes, I guess it could be cancer if there is a hole in your gums.
