Want to go but not sure?
    Hey everyone!

Tomorrow there is going to be a fathers day cookout/baby shower at my grandmoms house in jersey. My mom is going. I want to go but Im not sure. Why? Here's goes... cause my fiancé isn't going lol. Silly huh? He said he doesn't want to go cause he don't want to go to a baby shower (which I understand) but it's a fathers day cookout too. There are going to be other fathers there along with him. But besides that, he has to work anyway, so he wouldn't be able to go anyhow.

My mom said she might spend the night, she said she not sure. I am just trying to decide whether I just want to swallow my pride and leave and stay home.

Any advice guys? Please don't judge.. :-)

    Thanks!

Id go along, its nice to spend time with family and a baby shower is great fun.

You will have a day out and he will have a day for himself, when you get back he will be so relaxed and so will you,you both will have loads to talk about.

A little bit a time of your own and away from your loved one can work wonders in your relationship, its breathing space you didn't even know you needed!

I have a problem with always thinking the worse... thats why I had second thoughts on going.

I have until tonight to decide what I want to do

Instead of thinking the worst, visualise the best, the fun,the talk, the missing him and looking forward to seeing him, enjoy time with your family.

Start small,if your dreading what could happen, try and stop that thought and change it to a positive, becoming conscious of your thought pattern is the key to changing how you think.

Example: (negitive)if I go away tonight and something happens how will I get back>

(positive) if I go away tonight, ill have a good time,my fiancé is safe and we will have loads to talk about when I get back.
