I have a title for my mobile home,I was evicted from the lot I rented from the park as I was behind on lot rent, last October,3 weeks after I left my home the park I lived in sold my home as a rent to own,I checked and the title is still in my name and I want to sell it, to the people that are renting to own it.The park never took me to court for title for compensation for the back lot rent nor as the court awarded them the title in the eviction process. Can I legally sell this mobile home. Its in Cocoa Florida.

You have to first find out who actually owns it, how the Park was able to sell it.

I doubt the "new" owners want to buy it from them and then buy it again from you.

Yes, did they put a lien on the property ? Is there outstanding court action ?

Have you went to the DMV and verified that your title is still valid ?

You will need to notify the new "buyers" that the mobile home park is not the legal owner, and that you still own the home.
The park has to go though legal action to own and sell the home

Did you abandon the home after your eviction? How much is the home worth? Have you gone down to the courthouse (or called them) to see if the landlord filed any paperwork suing you for back park rent and won a judgment? You may still own the home legally on paper but you must first check with the DMV to see if the title is still in your name.

You also need to read your contract with the park. It may include language that allows them to take possession of the trailer if the lot payment is in arrears.

But I think it unlikely that they had the right to offer it for sale.
