Hi, our work colleague is leaving and another colleague is organizing what we will bring to her small farewell party for a meal-everyone should be bringing something, it's friendly gesture to stay together and to say goodbye.
I have no really close connections to the colleague who is leaving, because to tell the true I don't like her. She more communicates to other colleagues than me. At my workplace I ma like the black sheep,- some people tries to prof something to me ,-their knowledge about thing I already know.I avoid such people as I don't like them,, -Simple and silent,-loner. There's not many people to simply communicate with who don't want to pretend being smart. She is like that- wants to show that she knows a lot but she does not know that I also know that thing..
I true to myself... I wouldn't like to go there and bring the food, I wouldn't be able to swallow anything, I barely like anyone at our workplace too.
Shall I still go there, make friendly face and be a part of a team, together with everyone?

It's a party. There's nothing here to fret. Go and talk to your friends from work and enjoy their company. Be civil to the departing colleague you don't like.
