Has a misdemeanor an expiration time?
I was visisting MIAMI BEACH. I was crying after a saw someone taken by police. They said I was making a public scandal. They take me to police dept. and explained me that I will be there until court decided. I had to leave Florida and did not report to police. This happens 8 years ago. I would like to go Florida again, but Iam afraid. Please tell me what to do and how can I clean this stupid thing.
    Thank you

If you missed a Court hearing there is a warrant out for your address - you at some point will have to go to a Police Station (preferably in Florida) and surrender yourself. If you ran once they very well may jail you until the time of your hearing this time around.

First no, warrants never expire. Assuming you had a court date and missed it, it is very likely ( almost for sure) they issued a warrant for not appearing and/or the crime.

The issue is that they are not going to pay for you to be transported very far, if you are stopped outside of Fl.

But it would show up on your record, and effect you getting jobs, even some credit ( like a home loan perhaps)

Best to hire an attorney in Fl to deal with this and see if you can merely pay a fine.
