Already dripping wet, Emily, Karla, Marcus, and Jason climb into the boat and start paddling.
Is this right or wrong?
I know. What do you think?
Your answer can make a person wonder, Is there any good people out there?
As long as "already dripping wet" is intended to modify the people, I don't see anything wrong with it.
Why do you ask?
Edit: Well, I shouldn't assume they are people. They could be dogs with a penchant for paddling around in boats.
We get tons of homework questions. Is this one of them? No? Is it from a book you are reading? Are you having a discussion at the local bar? Are you debating this with your mother-in-law?
I need more explanation if you want me to hand you the answer.
And it's "Are there any good people out there?"
