My husband was with a woman that says he is the father of her son. His name is not on the birth certificate and the child does not have his last name. They now have been asking for him to sign over his rights so that her new husband can adopt him. I did not think he had any right to the child to begin with. Is there a need to sign over rights or can they just get the adoption done without him signing anything?
