I am moving out of state for my job. I currently live in an apt in TN and will be terminating my lease early. The apt is charging a termination fee. A friend that I work with told me that according to TN law I don't have to pay a termination fee if I'm relocating for work. Does anyone know if this is true and if so, where can I find this law so that I can show it to my landlord. Thanks.
