My Kenmore dishwasher model # 665-16023400 will not start. The normal wash light is flashing and I cannot turn it off. The only other button that lights up when I press it is the drain/cancel button, but the dishwasher doen't drain. I have tried pressing the heated dry and the heated wash buttons alternately within 6 seconds but nothing changes. Does anyone have a solution?

My Kenmore Ultra Wash Model 665 has worked great for many years. Lately it is leaving a film on silverware and not completely cleaning dishes. Is there a food filter that could be plugged or could it be something else?

My dishwasher leaks through the door during the wash cycle.
