    Hi, sandhyasrinivas!

Impress your husband in what way and why do you think that you need to impress him, please?

    Thanks!

You really shouldn't feel like you have to impress your husband.

Why do you think you need to impress him and what are you trying to impress him in?

You can impress your husband by first of all understanding and respecting his culture, values, wants and needs. Understand and then communicate those understandings in words (which you mean) and by actions (which comes out of your heart, rather than role-play).

Impression works both ways - when I say understand your husband, I also imply (but did not mention above) that you have to communicate what and how you feel about his culture, values, wants and needs - and should you feel uncomfortable with any of those, what is the best compromise you can reach so that it makes both you happy. There will be certain issues which will not be negotiable on his part and some on your part. It is best to find those issues (they could be anything), put them on the table and agree to respect those.

So essentially understanding him and making him understand you, will help in making a very good impression. Do not underestimate the power of communication and do not overestimate the power of love. Just because some one loves you does NOT mean they can read your mind or the writings on the wall.

Why would any woman have to impress her husband? Don't the "impressing" days end when dating becomes serious?
